Duck hunting in humbolt???

A buddy is trying to convince me to come up to Eureka / Humbolt to hunt with him and his brother. I have never been, but it seems logical the birds would be around early in the Season. Just bought a bear tag anyone else in?

Thia will be my first season going bear hunting. AJ Shepard has been asking me for wat to long now to tag along so I sacked up and bought a tag. I bought it over the counter for $38.50 at the sacramento headquarters office. An interesting fact that I discovered is that bear tags ending in odd numbers require that the skull of the bear killed must be brought to DFG office.
